Privacy Policy

The short version: Offline Music Player is designed to work entirely offline. Your audio files never leave your device. We do not collect any personal information, and we never sell your data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
We do not require you to create an account to use the App. The App has no sign-up, login, or registration of any kind. We do not collect your name, email address, payment information, or any other personal details.
1.2 Audio files and metadata
All audio files you import are stored locally on your device. Audio metadata (title, artist, album, artwork) is read from the file itself and stored in a local on-device database. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
1.3 Local app data
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Your library of songs, playlists, and play history.
- Your in-app settings and preferences (theme, etc.).
- Your current playback queue and last playback position.
None of this data is synced to any external server by the App.
1.4 Crash reports and diagnostics
If you have opted in to share analytics with Apple or Google at the OS level, crash reports and basic diagnostic information may be shared with us through their respective developer consoles (Xcode Organizer / Google Play Console). This data is anonymized and does not include your audio files or listening history.
2. How We Use Your Information
Because we do not collect personal information, there is nothing to use for advertising, profiling, or tracking. The only data that may reach Apple or Google are anonymized crash reports — and only if you have opted in to diagnostics sharing at the OS level.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
All app data (your library, playlists, play history, settings) is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. It is subject to your device’s built-in security (iOS data protection). The App does not transmit this data over the network — there are no backend servers involved.
If you use iCloud Backup, your device may include this local database in backups. This is controlled entirely by your iOS settings.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, social media trackers, or payment processors. The only external parties that may receive limited diagnostic data are Apple (via Xcode Organizer crash reports) — and only if you have opted in to share diagnostics with developers at the iOS system level.

5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data. Because almost all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it directly by uninstalling the App.
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.

7. Data Retention
We do not retain any personal data on external servers. All data (your library, playlists, play history, settings) is stored solely on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
